Glynnis Fallingleaf
The eldest druid in the grove is an elven woman called Glynnis Fallingleaf. She appears quite young but is known to be several hundred years old; perhaps old enough to remember the Cataclysm, though she never speaks of it. Tall, pale and thin, she appears as if a strong wind would blow her away. Fallingleaf loves her people and is a devout worshipper of Urse. She is well aware that those outside the grove are suspicious of her well's continued production of fresh water and she regularly posts guards in the area to prevent theft or sabotage.

Gardan Stonechest: Gardan is a Dwarven male of about 80 years old with dark brown hair and a bushy beard. He is a little over five feet tall but is massively well muscled in his upper body, alluding to his name. Stonechest lives alone and seeks no mate or companions. He yearns for the days of old when dwarves lived in the mountains and mined precious hems and ores and made wonderful things. Now, Gardan can only attempt the latter. This he does with precision, as his smithing skills are excellent. He is frequently seen at his smithy, the dwarven settlement and his home.

Tabitha Brushbender
This elderly halfling woman is crotchety by anyone's standards and smokes a corncob pipe. Once on her good side, however, she treats everyone as one of her grandchildren. As the leader of the halfling settlement, it is on Brushbender's stooped shoulders to keep her people fed and happy. She does the best she can, but her often brusque manner is off-putting to strangers.

Senator Margot Flametongue
Margot is a young, attractive human female in her late twenties. With fiery red hair and a statuesque build, she attracts many eyes on the Senate floor. Unmarried and unencumbered by male companionship at this time, Margot fights tirelessly for equal rights and fair treatment of the demi-humans in her district. She is loved by all of her constituents and loathed by the older, more cynical members of the Senate who feel her youthful ideals are naive in the extreme. Margot has high hopes that one of the adventuring parties being sent into the wilds will recover her father's sword and return it to her. She is found most frequently at the Senate, but additionally spends a good deal of time at home.

Bryan Flametongue
A middle aged but powerfully built human male, Bryan Flametongue served as a Senator for this district for nearly a decade before his death six years ago. Slain in battle by a huge Troll chieftain, Bryan's body was cast into the sea and his mighty sword was carried off by the Troll as a trophy. Now Bryan's body lies in the family crypt at the family's estate.
